Chris has a vast background in sport and exercise and from a young age Chris represented his region in football and various spells at professional clubs. From leaving school at 16 Chris decided he wanted to pursue a career in Sport and Exercise. His venture began in football, coaching for Brazilian Soccer Schools at the age of 16 and continued to do so until he reached 22 years of age. Chris graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a 2:1 in Applied Sports Coaching Science. It was in the summer after graduation Chris studied further with Steve Wyatt, one of the country’s leading Strength and Conditioning Coaches, where here completed a Diploma in Personal Training and Nutritional Guidance. It was Personal Training that became Chris’ passion and he continually tries to develop his skills to stay ahead of his competitors.
With a clientele ranging from his youngest at 21 up to the oldest at 75; it shows Chris can adapt his programmes to suit all ages and individual needs. Chris adopts a person centred holistic approach, looking at each individual separately so you can be confident that YOUR program is actually tailored to YOUR needs.
A full needs analysis is carried out in the first half of the first session in order gather data, for example; looking at posture, Chris can then devise a program consisting of stretching and strengthening exercises in order to achieve good postural alignment, alongside achieving your goals.
It is important that poor posture is assessed and corrected as poor posture can lead to long term health problems and cause unnecessary pain.
